Petaluma loves baseball; youth, adult, and school-aged people are all welcome to partake in the game. There are plenty of opportunities to play America’s most well-loved sport. Here are some of the best ways to experience the love of the game.
The Parks and Recreation Department offers a great softball league to adults in town. The game is played during the fall and spring baseball seasons. Teams are required to pay registration fees and need at least 12 members to form a team.
There are multiple little league teams for kids to play baseball, as well. There are three little league teams managed by the Parks and Recreation Department; the American Little League, the National Little League, and the Valley Little League.
The city is also home to Athletic Edge, a community organization that offers an indoor batting cage, lessons, camps, and clinics, as well as any other baseball and softball needs.
